The Seams of the Days-series is a succession of albums that follow their own tradition: Relatively capricious and contorted, rhythmic 1-hour continuums, created on one single synthesizer over the course of several months each. Parts 1 through 4 are available here. Parts 5 & 6 were conceived in 2020 as a collaboration with drummer Michael Anklin, who just as playfully and with an occasionally peculiar sonic palette, provides embellishment, groove and rumble.
Misel Quitno’s Serie Seams of the Days / Die Nähte der Tage ist eine Reihe von Alben welche ihrer eigenen Tradition folgt. Es handelt sich dabei um einstündige, flussartige, öfters wilde Kontinuums, programmiert über einen längeren Zeitraum auf einem einzelnen Synthesizer-Gerät. Die ersten 4 Teile finden sich hier. Die Teile 5 & 6 entstanden im Jahr 2020 als Zusammenarbeit mit dem Schlagzeuger Michael Anklin, welcher mit der ihm eigenen klanglichen Vielfalt und Verspieltheit gekonnt verziert, groovt und poltert.
